The BelfastArts Friday Art Walk completes the summer season, which featured weekly Friday art walks, on Sept. 2 and everyone is cordially invited to join the downtown celebration of the arts.

More than a dozen art galleries, studios and other art venues make Belfast their home and participate in the art walks. Galleries and artist studios hosting receptions will include High Street Studio and Gallery, Maine Farmland Trust Gallery, Betts Gallery, Art Alliance Gallery (AAG), Susan Cooney Fine Art Studio, Ben Hall’s 960 Studio, Daniel Anselmi’s 75 Main Street Studio, Brambles, Dina Petrillo at The Post Office Studio Workshop, the Belfast Co-op Café, Beyond the Sea, the Parent Gallery, Galerie Dufour and Lauren Veale Jewelry Studio.

As is tradition of the Belfast Friday Art Walks, street performances are an integral part of the celebration. On Sept. 2, local favorites Ando Anderson and Friends will invigorate passersby with their lively brand of folksy acoustic music while dancers Shana Bloomstein and Helena Melone mesmerize the sidewalk audiences.

The next Belfast art walk will be Oct. 7, the first Friday of October. For information on the art walks, visit
