“Energy, Intuition and Evolution: A Discussion” will take place in the Abbott Room at the Belfast Free Library on Tuesday, Sept. 6, from 6:30-9 p.m.

Join in for an interactive evening to explore ourselves as evolving human beings, engaged with our energy field and trusting our intuition. Who are we? Where are we going? How do we get there? Three Midcoast alternative healthcare practitioners will impart what they know about their respective fields, and invite dialogue.

Kristen Burkholder is a licensed massage therapist and Reiki Master. She teaches Reiki, volunteers with hospice, and is expanding her practice to include oncology massage, which she hopes to bring to local hospitals and anyone who needs it. Her website is belfastmainemassagetherapyreiki.com. She is also a singer with Tango, and a writer/performer for The New Vaudeville Revue.

David Inman started out as a combat medic in the U.S. Army, which progressed into becoming a registered respiratory therapist, working in critical care. After years of disillusionment and seeing gaping holes in how we treat in modern allopathic medicine David started down the path of alternative medicine.

David studied cranial osteopathy in Canada and has continued craniosacral therapy studies with the Upledger Institute and biodynamic craniosacral therapy with Charles Ridley. He currently is licensed in Maine as both a respiratory therapist and a massage therapist. David practices at his home office in Monroe, and clinics in Bar Harbor, and Belfast. More info can be found at cranialstillness.com.

Anne Atkinson is a retired nurse, counselor, massage therapist and craniosacral therapist. She accepts clients who are in the process of personal evolution and change and are seeking understanding and support.

Participants are encouraged to bring notepads, pen/pencil, and a seat cushion.

Time will be given for questions and breaks. This program is free and open to the public. For more information call the library at 338-3884 ext 10.
