Senator Olympia J. Snowe recognized Brittany Dyer of Lincolnville, who interned for the senator’s office in Augusta over the summer.

“I thank Brittany for her extraordinary work for the people of Maine this summer,” said Snowe, in a press release. “Time and again, Brittany went above and beyond what was asked of her and was truly an outstanding asset to me and my staff.”

Brittany graduated from Belfast Area High School in 2009 and is currently a junior at Merrimack College in North Andover, Mass. A Political Science major and General Psychology minor, Brittany is the daughter of Mary Ann Dyer and Henry Lang of Lincolnville.

Brittany assisted Snowe through numerous responsibilities, according to the press release, ranging from greeting constituents to handling various constituent requests.
