A free rabies vaccine clinic, sponsored by Waldo County Humane Society, will be held Saturday, Sept. 17, from 9-11 a.m. at the Brooks Fire Station, 19 Purple Heart Highway, in Brooks.

Chris and Sarah Tomalty from Little River Veterinary Hospital will be administering the shots.

The rabies shot will be free to animals residing in Waldo County. Pets from other counties are welcome to come for their vaccine for a small fee. In addition, coupon discounts toward the cost of having your pet spayed or neutered will be available to use at your local vet.

Donations of any size would be gratefully accepted. Remember to bring all animals on leashes or in portable pet carriers, and be responsible for cleaning up after your pet.
