Top league opponents: Camden Hills, Oceanside, Medomak Valley, Maranacook of Readfield and Winslow.

Outlook: Coach Lavalle said while he has a senior-laden squad, it still could be a challenging season for the Lions, with many of the players on the team delving into their first year at the varsity level.

“My hope this year, and every year, is that the girls are better at the end of each day then they were at the start of the day, or year,” said Lavalle. “I think that on any given night we can play with anyone in the league. At the same time we have the ability to lose to anyone in the league. We need to show up every single night and I hope that is what supporters will see — a hard-working, intelligent squad that believes in each other regardless of the situation on the pitch.”
