Many of the Midcoast’s high school golf teams were in action Monday and Tuesday hoping to earn a few victories on the links as they approach the midway point of the regular season.

Camden Hills and Belfast each picked up victories on the road Tuesday, while Medomak Valley prevailed in a road match Monday.

Medomak Valley is 3-2, Belfast 2-3, Oceanside and Camden Hills 2-4 and Mount View 0-5. Medomak Valley, Belfast, Camden Hills and Mount View play in Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B and Oceanside in KVAC Class A.

Camden Hills 9, Mount View 0 … At the Country View Golf Club in Brooks Tuesday, the Windjammers shut out the host Mustangs en route to their second win of the year. Camden Hills earned the victory with a four-golfer, nine-hole stroke total of 169 to 217. ‘Jammer Daulton Wickenden shot 39 through nine holes to medalist honors.

The individual results, with Windjammers listed first, were: Wickenden (39) defeated Erik Larrabee (41); Miles Ingraham (46) defeated Dan Muther (62); Drew Holt (42) defeated Zach Holman (62); Max Fischer (44) defeated Owen Freeman (57); James Zanca (44) defeated Montana Maynard (57); and Eddie Socker (47) defeated Jed Poulin (65).

Belfast 6.5, Oak Hill 2.5 … At The Meadows in Litchfield Tuesday, the Lions picked up their second win of the season, this time over the host Raiders. Belfast earned the victory with a four-golfers score of 169 to 217. Lion Jamie Jackson shot 37 through nine holes to earn medalist honors.

The individual results, with Lions listed first, were: Jackson (37) defeated Josh Martin (49); Tyler McDevitt (43) defeated Jacob Martin (59); Tim Sticht (44) upended Alexis Priest (54); Logan Mitchell (51) tied with Matt Gibart (51); Grant Starrett (53) lost to Oleg Wing (51); and Allie Njaa (62) lost to Matt Arnold (58).

In junior varsity action, Jack Smith (50) won his match, while Ethan Campbell (66), Ben Trundy (68) and Allen Alley (68) fell in their respective matches for the Lions. Full names for Oak Hill’s junior varsity players were unavailable.

Lincoln Academy 8, Medomak Valley 1 … At the Wawenock Golf Club in Walpole Tuesday, the Eagles defended their home course with ease with a victory over the visiting Panthers. Lincoln Academy earned the win with a four-golfer score of 156 to 179. Malcolm Oliver of the Eagles shot 35 through nine holes to earn medalist honors.

The individual results, with Panthers listed first, were: Adam Lynch (40) fell to Malcolm Oliver (35); Isaac Greenrose (46) lost to Seward Matel (37); John Wilcox (48) fell to Goran Johanson (score unavailable); Alex Greenrose (48) lost to Jalen Lincoln (43); Zack Judkins (45) defeated Cody Graves (49); and Ryan Merrifield (52) fell to Casey Poland (46).

Medomak Valley 8, Oak Hill 1 … At The Meadows in Litchfield Monday, the Panthers prevailed in all but one match and picked up their third win of the year. Medomak Valley earned the win with a four-golfer score of 156 to 179. Lynch shot a 41 through nine holes to earn medalist honors.

Maine Central Institute 6.5, Camden Hills 2.5 … At the Samoset Resort Golf Club in Rockport Monday, the Windjammers could not hold off the surging Huskies of Pittsfield and dropped their third match of the season. Maine Central Institute picked up the win behind the four-golfer stroke total of 169 to 173, while Daulton Wickenden shot an impressive 32 for nine holes, earning medalist honors on the day.

The individual results, with ‘Jammers listed first, were: Wickenden (32) defeated Gavin Dugas (42); Miles Ingraham (46) fell to Trevor Kitchin (42); Drew Holt (48) fell to Dylan Watrous (44); Max Fischer (47) lost to Kael McCarthy (41); Andrew Kyle (54) lost to Cameron Neal (58); and James Zanca (48) tied Garth Stockwell (48).

Brunswick 9, Oceanside 0 … At the Rockland Golf Club Monday, the Mariners fell to the undefeated Dragons. The Dragons outshot the Mariners 165 to 198 and saw Alex Viola shoot 37 to earn medalist honors.

The individual results, with Mariners listed first, were: Jordan Carter (47) fell to Viola (37); Reilly Flanagan (41) lost to Brad Smith (38); Parker Spear (56) lost to Derek Devereaux (44); Zeke Hamlin (55) lost to Grason Smith (50); J.T. Tobin (56) lost to Cameron Heatly (46); and Zach Bernard (55) fell to Tommy Favreau (46).
