A beautiful fall day set the stage for the annual Morrill Harvest Festival on Saturday, Sept. 17. Festivities started in the morning with a parade on Route 131, featuring floats, fire trucks, tractors, teams of horses and dirt bikes.

A long slate of family-friendly events, amusements and demonstrations ran through the afternoon behind the Gladys Weymouth School, including a woodcutting competition, pirate demonstration, cake walk, bounce house and chicken barbecue.
