Colcord experiences hunting success on opening day

For one young Waldo County resident, the opening day of the deer hunting season proved a successful experience. Brook Colcord, 16, of Monroe bagged a 7-point buck in her home town on opening day, Oct. 29. Colcord used a .243 to shoot the 153-pound animal.
