State Rep. Joan Welsh, D-Rockport, and State Sen. Chris Rector, R-Thomaston, accompanied Coastal Mountains Land Trust staff Kristen Lindquist and Ian Stewart on a recent legislators’ tour of preserves permanently conserved with the support of the Land for Maine’s Future Program.
The tour began in Belfast with the Head of Tide Preserve, stopped by Bald and Ragged mountains, and ended in Beech Nut, the historic stone hut at the top of Beech Hill in Rockport.
