Does your dog need to get up-to-date on its rabies shots before it can be licensed for 2012?

Waldo County Humane Society hosts its final free rabies clinic of the year on Saturday, Dec. 10, from 9-11 a.m. at the Old Lincolnville Fire Station, Main Street (Route 52), Lincolnville Center. Dr. Yvette LaHaye from the Searsport Veterinary Hospital will be administering the shots.

The rabies shot will be free to all animals residing in Waldo County. Pets from other counties are welcome to come for their vaccine for a small fee. In addition, coupon discounts toward the cost of having your pet spayed or neutered will be available to use at your local vet.

Donations of any size would be gratefully accepted. Remember to bring all animals on leashes or in portable pet carriers, and be responsible for cleaning up after your pet.
