Perimeter Gallery will open its annual small works show Friday, Dec. 2, featuring paintings and mixed media works by 18 artists from both Maine and away. There will be a reception the following Thursday, Dec. 8, from 6 to 8 p.m.

The small works show completes Perimeter Gallery’s 11th year of bringing contemporary art to the public within the space of Chase’s Daily. The artists featured in this year’s small works show are Tom Andersen, Ethan Andrews, Joe Ascrizzi, Max Ascrizzi, Gideon Bok, Meghan Brady, Megan Chase, Jobie Cole, Kenny Cole, Danielle Dimston, Aidan Sofia Earle, Karen Gelardi, Nico Jenkins, Freddy Lafage, Karen MacDonald, Fran O’Neill, Ben Potter and R J Whittle.

“Small Works” will run through Jan. 17. Perimeter Gallery is located in Chase’s Daily at 96 Main St. Hours are Tuesdays through Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sundays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information, call 338-0555.
