Last fall, the Friends of Marsh River Theater  presented “Wit,” a powerfully moving drama written by Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Margaret Edson, as a benefit for the Oncology Patient Assistance and Mammography Fund at Waldo County General Hospital and for Eastern Maine Medical Center Oncology. The production starred S. Harris Hall.

Recently, the Friends presented checks for $579 to both funds. On hand for the presentation were Brenda Burgess, RN and Sue Drinkwater, RN of the Oncology Department at Waldo County General Hospital; Hall; Brenda Joslyn of EMMC; and Mike Switzer, president of the Friends of Marsh River Theater.
