Ruby L. Clark, 86, died peacefully at an Ellsworth nursing facility on Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2011. She was born April 30, 1925, in Searsport, the daughter of Lemuel H. and Ruby (Larrabee) Dickey.

Ruby loved to travel to Florida in the winter, and abroad visiting France and Spain. She loved to paint, loved her home and antiques, and ran an antique shop, A Reflection in Time.

She was a very generous person who loved her family and her cat Muffin very much. Her door was always open to anyone who needed something.

She is survived by her children, Cheryl Remillard and her husband Andre, Wayne Lucas and fiancée Debra Lee, Joyce Peters and her husband Alfred, and Douglas Clark and his wife Nancy; one sister, Auraville Newman; a sister in-law, Gertrude Dickey; nine grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Maurice; siblings, Stanley Dickey, Carl Dickey and Laura Smart; and one great-grandchild.

Family and friends will gather for visitation Saturday, Dec. 31 at 10 a.m., followed by a service at 11 a.m., both at Young Funeral Home, 31 West Main Street, Searsport. Pastor Steve Macleod will officiate.
