Everyone is invited to bring the whole family and their instruments for an evening of Celtic music, dancing, games and food Saturday, Jan. 28 at the Belfast Curling Club, Route 3 just west of town. Advance tickets are on sale now.

The Cabin Fever Ceilidh, sponsored by the Maine Celtic Celebration, will begin at 5:30 p.m. with music provided by local Celtic duo Chuck Donnelly and Emma Walsh, along with the Belfast Bay Fiddlers. There will be a curling demonstration and a chance to try it out. The Penobscot Bay Scottish Country Dancers will demonstrate and lead group dancing. A hearty supper of casseroles, stews, salad and dessert will be served at 6 p.m., with a cash bar will be available.

Cost of the evening’s fun and food is $10 for tickets purchased by Friday, Jan. 27; tickets will be $12 at the door. Children younger than age 5 will be admitted free. Advance tickets are available at Out of the Woods, 48 Main St., or by calling 338-2692. Proceeds will support the Maine Celtic Celebration, the city’s premier summer festival on the waterfront.
