Mr. Paperback will host a book signing with author Danielle Bannister and her debut novel “Pulled.” On Saturday, Jan. 28 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Bannister, a Unitarian Universalist Church educator and local theatrical luminary, will sign copies of her book and greet readers at the store, located in the Renys Plaza, 1-F Belmont Ave./Route 3.

“Pulled,” a young adult novel with romantic and supernatural elements, introduces readers to Naya Adams and Etash, two college acting students unwillingly cast opposite each other in a silent production of “Romeo and Juliet.” One recovering from the freakish death of her parents and the other facially scarred, the two students do their best to live normally by avoiding the past and denying the unnatural pull between them, but mysterious forces are at work — this is not the first time they have been pulled together, nor will it be their last.

Copies of the book, released last September, will be available for sale during the event and afterwards at Mr. Paperback. For more information about the book, visit daniellebannister.wordpress.com.
