The Stockton Springs Community Library recently received a grant from the Maine Charity Foundation Fund of the Maine Community Foundation for the purchase of an LCD projector and a projection screen.

The projector and screen will be used for the library’s guest speakers and educational programs. Programs planned for 2012 include presentations by Lincolnville gardener Ken Cleaves, Penobscot Marine Museum photo archivist Kevin Johnson, and authors Chris Van Dusen and Gerry Boyle.

The Stockton Springs Community Library is an all-volunteer library located in the historic Colcord House on Main Street in downtown Stockton Springs. For more information, visit stockspringslibrary.org.
