After announcing its closure late last fall, the downtown Working Art Gallery at 65 Main St. is back for a 14th year, with a bit of a revamp.

“After 13 years in Belfast, we decided not to retire but to downsize our gallery”, said co-owner Celene Farris.

Farris and co-owner Louis Masciovecchio have moved their gallery to the second floor and will feature their work and that of Sheryl Tripp. On the first floor, Maine artist and antique dealer Jude Nickerson has opened The Raven’s Nest Gallery, offering a mix of Maine art and antiques. Both are currently open Thursdays through Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and by appointment.

“We look forward to our 14th year in Belfast and also to more free time to paint,” said Farris.
