Eleanor ‘Ellie’ (Bonin) Hoyte of Holbrook, Mass., passed away Jan. 28, 2012 at the age of 78.

Ellie was the beloved wife of 60 years to Laurance D. “Bill” Hoyte; loving mother of William Hoyte, Jeffrey Hoyte, Laurance “Chip” Hoyte, Jr. all of Holbrook, Mass. and the late Scott and Timothy Hoyte; devoted sister of Jean Patton, Buster Bonin, Anthony Bonin, Thomas Bonin and Ned Bonin all of Northport, Stella Hoyte of Ashland, Mass., the late Robert Bonin, Marilyn Dean, James Bonin, and Micky Elwell; dear grandmother of Rachel Hoyte, Alisha O’Donnell, Ashley Hoyte, Jeffrey Hoyte Jr., Kerri Hoyte, and Joseph Hoyte.

She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Arron Hoyte Pukt, Justin Haran and Haylie Hoyte; and many nieces and nephews.

Ellie was born in Northport, and had lived in Holbrook, Mass. since 1954. She was a former employee of Sports Health of Randolph where she had worked for several years.

Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 69 South Franklin St., (Route 37) Holbrook, Mass.; funeral services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 31 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held Monday, Jan. 30 from 4-8 p.m. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Randolph, Mass.
