University of New Hampshire dean’s list

DURHAM, N.H. — The following students have been named to the dean’s list at the University of New Hampshire for the fall semester of the 2011-2012 academic year:

• Elizabeth Eden, of Frankfort (highest honors).

• Heather Sanderson, of Belfast (high honors).

• Annie Seekins, of Searsport (highest honors).

• Brooke Libby, of Unity (high honors).

Highest honors are awarded to students who earn a semester grade-point average of 3.7 or better, out of a possible 4.0. Students with a 3.5 to 3.69 average are awarded high honors and students whose grade point average is 3.2 through 3.49 are awarded honors.

Swanville woman named to dean’s list at Beloit College

BELOIT, Wis. — Jamie Eversage, of Swanville, has been named to Beloit College’s dean’s list for the fall semester.

To be eligible for the dean’s list, a student must carry a semester grade-point average of 3.4 or higher and take a minimum of three letter-graded units for the term.

Knox woman named to dean’s list at Ohio Wesleyan University

Alison Maurice of Knox, has been named to the 2011 fall semester dean’s list at Ohio Wesleyan University.

To qualify for Dean’s List recognition, Ohio Wesleyan students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale in all applicable classes.

ORONO — Recently the University of Maine recognized nearly 2,000 students for achieving dean’s list honors in the fall 2011 semester. Of the students who made the dean’s list, 1,689 are from Maine, while 203 are from out of state and 55 are from foreign countries.

Southern Maine Community College dean’s list

SOUTH PORTLAND — Southern Maine Community College has announced the fall 2011 dean’s list.

Students completing a minimum of nine credit hours in courses graded A, B, or C, or P with a term grade point average of at least 3.00 are named to the semester’s dean’s list, provided that no grade lower than C was earned in any course that semester and the student is not on probation.

Students who have asked to be excluded from the college’s directory information, by law, cannot be included on the dean’s list.
