The following cases were closed in Waldo County Superior Court from Jan. 23 to Jan. 27:

Fred J. Cameron, 51, of Swanville, assault, $800 fine; domestic violence (terrorizing), dismissed; domestic violence (assault), $50 fine; violating condition of release, dismissed.

Ryan A. Chase, 21, of Sidney, two counts of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, nine months in jail for each count (concurrent — stayed until March 5); four counts of burglary, nine months in jail for each count (concurrent — stayed until March 5).

David A. Maxcy, 32, of Belfast, criminal mischief, $100 fine; domestic violence (assault), dismissed.

Barbara E. Orcutt, 49, of Thorndike, operating under the influence, dismissed; driving to endanger, $575 fine, 72 hours in jail (stayed until April 27), license suspended 30 days; failing to make oral or written accident report, $300 fine; failing to notify of motor vehicle accident, dismissed.

Earl C. Stevens, 59, of Lincolnville, assault, $300 fine, 15 days in jail (stayed until Feb. 10); unlawful sexual touching, dismissed.

Christine E. Von Mehren, 59, of Belfast, was found to have violated her probation on a previous charge of unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs. As a result, she was sentenced to three days in jail, and had her probation partially revoked and continued.
