“The New Vaudeville Revue” — Waldo County’s semi-annual variety show — will return to supply a mid-winter injection of laughs and bonhomie Saturday, Feb. 18 at 7 p.m. at the American Legion Hall, 143 Church St. The revue offers local, homebrewed and homegrown comedy, music, poetry and hi-jinks.

Hosted by Ando Anderson, the show includes usual suspects Jenny Tibbetts and Kristen Burkholder with actor Scott Anthony Smith. Other special guests include Boomshop, the Mount View High School barbershop quartet; and dancers Shana Bloomstein and Helena Melone. Poetry will be performed by Belfast’s own poet laureate, Jacob Fricke.

This month, the New Vaudeville Revue House Band features Willy Kelly on guitar, Joe Allard on bass and Jeff Densmore on drums. The show will be filmed live for Belfast Community Television by Ned Lightner and crew.

Tickets are $12, available in advance at the downtown Åarhus Gallery and also at the door. For more information, call 322-7123. The next show is scheduled for March 31.
