The musical duo Jessie and Greg Boardman will play fiddle tunes and Chrissy Fowler will call and teach all dances at the monthly contra dance Saturday, Feb. 25, at Simonton Corner Hall, at the intersection of Main and Park streets.

The dance will start at 7 p.m.; water and snacks are provided; and children are admitted free. No partner or prior experience is needed.

Greg is founder of the Maine Fiddle Camp in Montville, a popular summer program that includes singing, dancing and workshops with a variety of instruments. He has been teaching and performing on his fiddle for decades. He and his wife, also known as Jessie Gagne-Hall, live in Lewiston. They both teach at fiddle camp and play for dances throughout the region. Dancers can expect to hear fiddle, viola, guitar and pennywhistle.
