In celebration of Great Maine Outdoor Weekend March 2-4, experienced naturalist Ron Joseph will offer a nature walk at Tanglewood 4-H Camp and Learning Center in Lincolnville from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. on March 2. Participants should meet at the camp gate, ready to begin the walk promptly at 8:30 a.m.

Joseph retired to Midcoast Maine after a 33-year career as a Maine wildlife biologist. His interest in nature took root on his grandparents’ small dairy farm in central Maine. Today, his hours are spent writing and leading field trips for conservation organizations in Maine.

From 3:30 to 5 p.m. on March 2, Tanglewood educational staff will be on hand at the camp gate to offer goodies and activities to kids of all ages.

All are invited and encouraged to explore Tanglewood’s extensive trail system throughout the weekend.
