On Sunday, March 18 from 10 a.m. to noon at Waterfall Arts, join the Belfast Co-op for a power breakfast cooking demonstration with natural foods chef Pam McKeen.

McKeen, who has a diploma from the Chef Training Program at the Natural Gourmet Institute for Health and Culinary Arts in New York City, will demonstrate how to make gluten-free and sugar-free breakfast options, with samples for tasting.

She will demonstrate: avocado eggs over crispy herb and garlic potatoes; teff, amaranth, and oat porridge with coconut, raisins, and gingered figs; how to make your own delicious almond milk; and zesty greens with orange and cranberries. Participants are asked to bring their own plate, bowl and utensils.

Pre-registration is required; there is a $10 materials fee and a 12 participant limit. Pre-register at any register in the Belfast Co-op, 123 High Street, or call 338-2532 to pre-register.

Waterfall Arts is located at 256 High St. in Belfast, less than a half-mile north of the Belfast Co-op on High Street. For more information about this class, contact Education Coordinator Kate Harris at kate@belfast.coop or 338-2532.
