Nomination papers for available municipal seats in Lincolnville can be obtained at the Lincolnville Town Office.

The papers became available March 19 and must be returned with a minimum of 25 signatures from registered Lincolnville voters by 5 p.m. April 30. Multiple candidates have taken out papers for a variety of positions including a pair of seats on the Board of Selectmen, a single seat on the CSD School Committee, a trio of three-year budget committee seats, and a pair of one-year budget committee seats. There are also four available seats on the Lincolnville Central School Committee; term lengths vary from one to three years.

Ladleah Dunn has taken out and returned nomination papers for the Board of Selectmen. She has served two years on the planning board and also serves on the Comprehensive Planning Committee. Jason Trundy, an incumbent who presently serves as chairman of the Board of Selectmen, has also taken out the requisite papers but has yet to return them. Trundy’s term expires in June as does the term of fellow Selectman Stacey Parra.

Reed Matthews and Daina Hill have both taken out nomination papers for re-election to the Budget Committee. Each of them presently serves on the Budget Committee with their respective three-year terms ending in June. A third seat opening in June is presently occupied by Thomas Wilhelm.

Betsy Maguire took out and returned nomination papers for the CSD board; however, she decided to instead seek election to the Lincolnville Central School Committee. Maguire took out papers for the LCS Committee but hasn’t returned them yet. Rebecca Stephens has also taken out, but not returned, nomination papers for the LCS Committee. Dorothy Lanphear will seek re-election to the LCS Committee and has returned the nomination papers. Christine Stevens and Briar Lyons are both completing terms on the LCS Committee in June. Stevens has taken out nomination papers but has not returned them. Lyons has not taken out nomination papers to date.

Yvonne Walker serves on both the LCS Committee and CSD board but hasn’t acquired nomination papers to run again. Her terms on each committee end in June.

The Lincolnville town meeting will take place Tuesday, June 12.
