Waldo County Humane Society will host a spring rabies clinic at Frankfort Elementary School, located at 112 North Searsport Road, Frankfort, on Saturday, May 5, from 9 to 11 a.m.

The rabies shot is free to animals residing in Waldo County. Pets from other counties are welcome, but a small fee will be charged. Remember to have all animals on leashes or in portable pet carriers.

Dr. Bennett Arble of Little River Veterinary Hospital will administer the rabies shots.

This clinic will also serve as a fundraising event for Miss Millie’s Cupboard, the Frankfort-based food pantry for domestic companion animals. Miss Millie’s Cupboard helps local families in need of assistance in feeding their pets. Donations of cat or dog food as well as any monetary donations would be gratefully accepted.

In addition to the rabies shots, coupon discounts toward the cost of having your pet spayed or neutered can be picked up at the clinic.
