The National Marionette Theatre presented its performance of Pinocchio at the Belfast Area High School on Saturday, April 28. Members of the Syrotiak family of Brattleboro, Vermont, stayed after the show to demonstrate to the nearly 200 people in attendance how the marionettes work.

The National Marionette Theatre is one of the oldest continually-running marionette theaters in the United States, putting on marionette shows for more than 40 years. The event was sponsored by Waldo County General Hospital.
