Buoyant Quebecois band Tidal Wave (Raz de Maree) will return to the Midcoast for a house concert Sunday, May 13 at 7:30 p.m. Only 50 seats are available; to reserve, send email to Liza Eager at liza.farmtable@yahoo.com. Admission will be $15 to $20 at the door, and directions will be given upon reservation.

Tidal Wave is a traditional music ensemble on the Quebecois folk music scene who played the American Folk Festival in Bangor in 2007 and the Belfast Flying Shoes Dance Series in 2010, in both cases to enthusiastic crowds. Their members come from Quebec (Sabin Jacques on accordion and violin Eric Favreau), Acadie (Rachel Aucoin on piano and vocals) and New England (Stuart Kenney on bass and banjo).

The band invites cultures to meet and share a passion for traditional music and dance in this intimate house concert. For more information about the musicians, visit tidalwavemusic.com.
