The next PechaKucha Night Midcoast Maine will be held Friday, May 18 in the auditorium of Lincoln Street Center for Arts and Education, 24 Lincoln St. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and the presentations will start at 7 p.m.

Presenters for the night, each of whom will show 20 images at 20 seconds each, are: Eric Allyn, architectural designer; Kris Engman, artist; Tim Rousseau, furniture maker; Julia Scott, photographer; Jessica Shepard, owner of The Uproot Pie Co.; Stell Shevis, an artist in her nineties who specializes in enameling; Lacy Simons, owner of hello hello books; and Kitty Winslow, artist. Emcee for the evening will be Belfast poet Arielle Greenberg Bywater.

Cost will be $5 at the door. Attendees are invited to stay after the presentations for “chit-chat” with the presenters and other PechaKucha attendees; there will be nibbles and drinks for all.

PechaKucha Night Midcoast Maine takes place in partnership with the Farnsworth Art Museum, Waterfall Arts and Maine Boats, Homes & Harbors.
