“Iranium,” an award-winning one-hour documentary, will be screened Sunday, May 27 at 5 p.m. at the old North Montville Baptist Church, 1001 Halldale Road.

The 2011 documentary film explores the Iranian nuclear program as it pertains to strategic threats against the West, as well as Islamic fundamentalism in Iran. The film is narrated by Academy Award nominee Shohreh Agdashloo. Among those interviewed are John Bolton, former U.S. Ambassador to the U.N.; Sen. Jon Kyle, Ariz.; Harold Rhode, former Foreign Affairs official at the Pentagon; and James Woolsey, director of the CIA under the Clinton Administration.

The screening is sponsored by CUFI (Christians United For Israel, Gen. 12:3), whose Maine director, the Rev. Stephen Rogers, will briefly speak about and introduce the film. Light refreshments will be served and a discussion period will be offered.
