The paintings of Jackson artist Janice Anthony are the subject of an artist profile in the June issue of American Art Collector magazine.

The article, written by John O’Hern, is based on conversations with Anthony discussing her approach as a painter to the wilderness and landscape of Maine and her sources of inspiration and working process. Several of her recent paintings are reproduced in the magazine, which focuses on the art of contemporary realism.

Anthony will be showing her work at the Frost Gully Gallery in Thomaston in mid-August.
