Law enforcement officials with the Waldo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following recent activity:

May 21

Dennis Pomeroy, 31, of Northport, operating after suspension, inspection sticker violation (none).

Michael Lynch, 44, of Winterport, unsecured load of gravel.

May 22

Stephen B. Sherer, 49, of Stockton Springs, operating under the influence.

Tammy L. Reynolds, 36, of Brewer, was summoned for speeding for driving 60 mph in a 35 mph zone.

Austin Stevens, 18, of Swanville, was arrested on a warrant for theft by deception.

May 23

John P. Helander, 77, of Monroe was headed south on Route 141 in Monroe in a 2004 Chevrolet pickup when he made a left turn onto Moody Road. Helander reportedly continued in a left-hand turn sweep, leaving the left side of the road and hitting a utility pole head-on. The operator told police the steering locked up in his truck before the accident, but the responding officer, Deputy Jim Porter, noted in his report that Helander may have blacked out or been distracted at the time of the accident because the vehicle appeared to be in good mechanical condition. Helander was not injured in the crash.

Tristan Grant, 20, of Lincolnville, unlawful possession of synthetic hallucinogenic drugs, possession of schedule W drug (LSD), possession of schedule Z drugs, possession of a usable amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and violating conditions of release.

May 24

Stephen Cummings, 24, of Northport, domestic violence assault, terrorizing. Cummings was arrested on a probation hold.

May 25

Peter Richardson, 50, of Stockton Springs, violating conditions of release.

Oscar Bryant, 56, of Searsmont, domestic violence terrorizing.

Lorelei G. Erskine, 56, of Liberty, leaving the scene of a property damage accident and failure to make an accident report by the quickest of means.

May 26

Charles Larrabee, 19, of Searsport was summoned for speeding for driving 70 mph in a 55 mph zone and failure to provide proof of insurance.

Holly Carter, 43, of Swanville was arrested on a warrant on two counts of theft and one count of forgery.

Lisa Littlefield, 32, of Montville, operating after suspension and operating a defective motor vehicle.

May 28

Robert Vellaro, 35, of Northport, was arrested on a warrant for unpaid fines and fees.

Nathan C. Martin, 67, of Lexington, Mass., was summoned for speeding for driving 80 mph in a 55 mph zone.
