Primary elections for federal, state and local officials will be held Tuesday, June 12. Both Democratic and Republican candidates are vying for the opportunity to continue their campaigns in the general election in November.

Primaries will be held for U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representatives, State Senate, State Representative, along with municipal positions like selectmen and School Board members.

Belfast, Morrill and Northport will also vote on whether or not to pursue withdrawal from Regional School Unit 20.
