The annual Belfast Summer Nights series will continue Thursday, June 28 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in Heritage Park, on the waterfront adjacent to the public landing.

Gypsy Caravan will perform in the gypsy jazz/manouche style. The combo builds upon the traditions of Django Reinhardt’s music while getting inspiration from modern players such as Bireli Lagrene, John Jorgenson, Robin Nolan and Frank Vignola. They also take a fresh look at some popular songs and are continually adding new originals.

Gypsy Caravan features David Clarke, lead guitar; Dan Clarke, rhythm guitar; Wayne Delano, saxes; and Ezra Rugg, acoustic bass. The music is free, although donations for the series are always welcomed. Concertgoers should bring lawn seating and maybe a picnic. For more information, call 322-7123. Up next is Shades of Blue July 5 in Heritage Park.
