The 58th annual Brooks Field Days, now known as Brooks Hay Days, is set for Wednesday, July 4 in Brooks Park. Starting with breakfast at 7:30 p.m. and running all day to the 10 p.m. fireworks, the community festival includes a craft tent with a variety of demos and a number of musical performances.

The upper stage entertainment lineup begins 11:30 a.m. with a lively contra dance; Belfast Bay Fiddlers provide the tunes. Kayla Anderson will perform at 1:30 p.m.; Travis Lloyd & The Rugged will play from 3 to 5 p.m.; and Don Nickerson and the Country Mist Band will perform from 7 to 10 p.m.

Cost for the full day of activities is $2, free for kids younger than 12; all proceeds go back into the park and its buildings.
