The City Council will be considering the following items during the scheduled July 3 meeting:

•Consideration of possible appointment to the Library Board of Trustees

•Request from Our Town Belfast to have the Annual Street Party on Aug. 6, 2012 and for some financial support for this event

•Update and discussion of next steps on Belfast’s possible withdrawal from RSU 20

•Request from the Economic Development Director for the City to sign a letter of intent to apply for a Community Development Block Grant on behalf of the Front Street Shipyard

•Second reading and possible action on new Parking Ordinance rules

•Request from the Planning Director to make Assistant Planner, Jamie Francomano, the official alternate Code Enforcement Officer for the City of Belfast

•Update on Rail & Trail development

•Executive Session pursuant to 1 MRSA 405 6c to discuss an Economic Development matter

•Signing of Council Orders and housekeeping items


The meeting is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. and is also televised on the local government access channel.
