A ukulele circle meets at the gazebo near the Belfast Boathouse Tuesdays at 6 p.m. The Boathouse is at Steamboat Landing, at the waterfront foot of Commercial Street.

Loaner ukes are available for giving the instrument a try. The circle offers a great way to get to know this tons-of-fun instrument. If it is raining, call “Frets” Halligan at 992-3535 for alternate location.
