Maine-ly Harmony women’s a cappella barbershop chorus will hold its annual super yard sale Saturday, July 21 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Hill Gardens on Route 3, in between Tobey’s Market and Palermo School.

The sale features the goods from 30 households. Rows of tables, laden with plants (the nursery’s own gorgeous plants including  hosta, daylilies, astilbe, primrose, rudbecia, bleeding hearts and gallardia), books, and unexpected treasures, sheltered in the nursery’s shady garden paths amidst a riot of colorful blooms, await bargain-hunters. Barbershop harmony will fill the air, and the Harmony Cafe will be serving hot dogs, home-baked goods and beverages.

Maine-ly Harmony is a nonprofit organization that rehearses Wednesday evenings at Togus VA and regularly does benefit performances throughout the community. For more information on the yard sale, becoming a member or booking a performance, call 582-5523 or 993-2246.
