As part of its “Summer Folk” celebration, the University of Maine’s Hutchinson Center, 80 Belmont Ave./Route 3, will screen the film “Peyton Place” Monday, July 30 at 6:30 p.m. Maine author Sandy Phippen will introduce the movie, which was filmed in the Belfast and Camden area in 1957 and includes many local actors.

The event is free to the community and will take place in UMH’s auditorium, which is air-conditioned and provides comfortable, theater- style seating for more than 100 people.
