The BelfastArts Friday Gallery Walk continues July 27. More than 20 art venues invite the public to enjoy leisurely visits through the intimacy of their downtown galleries, showcasing a variety of work including painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media and jewelry.

As the Belfast Bound Book Festival weekend also begins this day, Belfast Poet Laureate Jacob Fricke will be in the streets sharing poetry with everyone. Also performing will be Lincoln Blake, saxophonist.

Participating studios and galleries are Betts Gallery at the Belfast Framer, Belfast Co-op Cafe Gallery, Art Alliance Gallery, Aarhus, Waterfall Arts, Marc Leavitt Studio, High Street Studio & Gallery, 75 Main Street Studio, Brambles, Raven’s Nest Gallery, Northern Lights Gallery, Lauren Veale Jewelry Studio, Beyond the Sea, Image Box Photos, Parent Gallery, 960 Studio, Galerie Dufour, Dina Petrillo at The Post Office Studio Workshop, Susan A. Cooney Fine Art Studio and Maine Farmland Trust Gallery.

The walks take place 5:30 to 8 p.m. every Friday in July and August and first Fridays in June, September, October and December. For more information on all participating galleries, openings and special events, visit belfastartwalk.com.
