Katenia Keller is the artist and author of “Pythias Sacred Geometry Tarot,” which she self published in 2009. Having completed 56 paintings representing the Minor Arcana, she has launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund their printing. She hopes to raise the funds by Thursday, Aug. 16 and to have a full deck in her hands by September.

Keller began to study and work with the tarot system in 2002 and began to paint her own interpretations of the 22 Major Arcana cards in 2008, using sacred geometry to create the symbolism. Her original acrylic on panel paintings are 16-by-16 inches, and the cards are 4-by-4 inches. She has shown her paintings and given talks about the images at several galleries in Midcoast and central Maine; has lectured at the C.G. Jung Center in Brunswick; and presented at Colby College’s PechaKucha.

The printing and production of a full deck marks the completion of five years of painting, focused study, writing and preparation. Keller plans to continue to lecture, show her paintings, give readings and teach others how to use this system for personal expansion. To see the images and to find out more about her project, visit kickstarter.com and search for Sacred Geometry Tarot. Rewards for contributing to the project include the new complete deck, prints of the paintings and readings.
