The Coastal Fine Arts Alliance of Maine will return to present the second annual “Gallery at the Harbor,” a juried fine art show presenting the work of more than 30 Maine artists, in Heritage Park on the city’s waterfront. The show will run rain or shine Saturday, Aug. 4 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sunday, Aug. 5 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Showcased will be acrylics, oils, watercolors, pastels, etchings, woodcuts and mixed two-dimensional media. Styles range from ultra realism to plein air expressionism, impressionism and abstraction. Although most members of the nonprofit CFAAM have their works represented in other venues, its shows create a feeling of camaraderie not found in conventional galleries. Participating artists volunteer their time to organize, advertise and run the show. Profits from the Belfast show will be donated to the City of Belfast Department of Parks and Recreation.
