Come out and join us on Saturday, Aug. 11, in the backyard of Bob and Isabel Maresh in Belmont, Maine, for the annual Family-Neighborhood Reunion. We start eating about noon. If you want to help with set-up, come anytime in the forenoon.

Each year we add more families. We welcome everyone, even if you’re a passer-by and want to eat with and greet your neighbors. We’ve had large attendance of first one family and then another.

Bring a casserole, chips, soda, dessert or your favorite food for pot-luck lunch. Bring a chair to sit on and an item for the fun auction, which helps with expenses. Also consider bringing memorabilia, such as genealogies, scrapbooks and photos to be copied. The basics are provided, eating utensils, paper plates and cups, baked beans, potato salad, coffee, tea, lemonade and ice water.

We plan to have a Remembrance poster of photos of those who have attended the reunions and have since passed away.

Some Lermond descendants are Young, Heal, Morse, Morton, Robbins; Hannan descendants are Annie, Perkins, Herbert, Randall, Bragdon, Maresh, and more; we have Dean, Levenseller, Norton, Cram, and more ancestors.  All are welcome, so mark your calendar.
