Galerie Dufour, 94 Main St., invites the public to an exhibition of new works, “From the Ground Up,” which will open with a 5:30 to 8 p.m. art walk reception Friday, Aug. 10 and run through Sept. 6.

Prominent plant life juxtaposed with the human figure is the common element unifying these natural fine art nude photographs by Charles Laurier Dufour. Also featured are photographic abstracts of birch bark. A wide array of photographic art is exhibited throughout the gallery including seascapes and landscapes, florals and lighthouses, photographs of Belfast harbor and numerous fine art nudes.
