Union Atlantic Hydro to discuss potential purchase of Swan Lake Dam

A representative of Union Atlantic Hydro, LLC will meet with the Swanville Select Board and members of the public as part of the Board’s regularly schedule meeting on Wednesday night, August 15, 7 p.m., at the Swanville Town Hall, to discuss its potential acquisition of the Swan Lake Dam. Union Atlantic Hydro, LLC has placed the dams of the Goose River Hydro Project under contract; the Project includes the Swan Lake Dam and four dams downstream, three of which have hydroelectric generation facilities. The facilities are currently owned by Goose River Properties.

Union Atlantic Hydro, LLC is a Maine company that is exploring development of small-scale hydro generation in Maine.
