Law enforcement officials with the Waldo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following recent activity:

Aug. 2

Timothy Bucklin, 50, of Swanville, unlawful sexual contact, aggravated assault.

Aug. 1

Thomas Bubar, 27, of Jackson, domestic violence assault, obstructing the report of a crime.

Aug. 4

Trevor C. Canning, 29, of Swanville was traveling south on Moosehead Trail in Brooks at about 12:30 p.m. in a 2000 Ford when he failed to negotiate a left turn. According to the accident report, Canning left the right-hand side of the road and sideswiped a telephone pole, with the vehicle coming to rest in a ditch. The report from Deputy James Porter stated that Canning was “asleep or sleepy” and “possibly under the influence of marijuana.” Porter’s report also stated Canning’s license was under suspension at the time of the crash, and that Canning allegedly fled the scene on foot. Records at the Waldo County Sheriff’s Office show a warrant for Canning’s arrest is pending.

Anthony Ulmer, 37, of Winterport, was arrested on a charge of violating conditions of release and marijuana cultivation.

Ladonna Ulmer, 37, of Winterport, possession of paraphernalia, possession of a usable amount of marijuana.

Benjamin P. Vasquez, 22, of Manchester, N.H., possession of a usable amount of marijuana.

William Moulton, 18, of Lincoln, violating conditions of release, two counts of assault, criminal mischief.

Thomas Bubar, 27, of Jackson, violating conditions of release.
