Local potter Mary Trotochaud will open her Everyday Pottery studio doors at 103 Northport Road Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 18 and 19 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. She has worked as a craftsman in clay since 1977.

Trotochaud’s handcrafted wheel-thrown pieces unite form and function, and her broad palette is taken from the gardens around the studio.  The gardens will be open to tour. The studio is just outside of Belfast, off route 52 via Ryan Road, and is open daily by chance or by appointment. For more information, call 342-2251 or visit marytrotochaud.com.
