The Board of Directors of Newforest Institute is accepting proposals to continue its work and transition into a new, related project.

Proposals must be mission-consistent and demonstrate financial viability. All proposals will be considered. Preference will be given to proposals that build upon Newforest’s legacy of land regeneration, permaculture demonstration and research, and community forestry. Newforest is currently leasing its site, so the strongest proposals will include a plan for land acquisition and conservation.

The Newforest Institute is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to improved community and sustainable development practices derived from the revitalization of historical forests and farmland. Through integrative study, sustainable development projects and community initiatives, we seek to promote those practices critical to a healthy, productive and sustainable society for the future.

Proposals must include:

· Vision for the project

· Description of proposed activities
