Belfast Historical Society will host architect Christopher Glass and architectural photographer Brian Vanden Brink Monday, Aug. 27 at 7 p.m. at the Belfast Free Library, 106 High St. They will deliver a PowerPoint presentation titled “Historic Maine Homes, 300 Years of Great Houses,” based on their book of the same name.

Glass and Vanden Brink will explore fascinating facets of architectural history using examples of Maine styles found in both public and private homes. They will be available to sign copies beginning at 6:15 p.m. and again following the program.

Belfast Historical Society meetings are free and open to the public and are held on the fourth Monday of the month, April through October. Those unable to attend the program are invited to tune in to “Window on History” on BCTV-2 Tuesdays at 7 p.m., Thursdays at 9:30 a.m. and Saturdays at 4:30 p.m.; or watch the program online at belfastmuseum.org, which offers new programs each month.
