Aug. 12

Trooper Shawn Porter arrested Mariah Valliere, 28, of Jackson on an outstanding warrant.

Aug. 13

Trooper Benjamin Sweeney stopped Christopher Pariseau, 41, of Brooks in Unity for failure to stop at a stop sign. Pariseau was charged with operating after suspension and for the traffic offense.

Trooper Christopher Smith and K9 Freyja assisted the Waldo Sheriff’s Office in locating a male in Prospect who was allegedly under the influence of drugs and suicidal.

Aug. 14

Trooper Sweeney charged Danielle Lawler, 19, of Newburgh with Class C theft by receiving stolen property in connection with a previous case in Winterport.

Aug. 15

Police arrested Stanna Alton, 29, on an outstanding warrant, and Thomas Bubar, 20, for violating conditions of release.

Trooper Smith received a vandalism complaint in Troy after a car window was damaged overnight.

Trooper Smith responded to School Street in Unity for a woman who was contemplating suicide. She was transported by ambulance to the hospital for an evaluation.

Aug. 17

Trooper Jonathan Russell summoned Angela Queener, 27, for operating after suspension-civil.

Trooper Smith charged Jeffrey Miller, 50, of Winslow with theft and criminal trespass in connection with a scrap metal investigation in Freedom.
Aug. 19

Police responded to the Loggin Road in Frankfort for a domestic dispute. Kayla Steward, 23, was summoned for possession of scheduled Z drugs.

An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
